Two Simple ingredients that heal Diverticulitis quickly

  • Two Simple ingredients that heal Diverticulitis quickly

When I first experienced the intense pain on my side, I had no idea what it was.  It felt like a terrible cramp and I struggled to walk (due to the pain).  I soon discovered that I had something called Diverticulitis.

What is Diverticulitis?

Diverticulitis happens when pouches form in the wall of the colon and these pouches become inflamed or infected, and this can be very painful.

Diverticulitis Symptoms

The most common symptom of diverticulitis is a pain, which can be mild or severe, on the lower left-hand side of the abdomen.

Other symptoms may include:

  • fever
  • nausea or vomiting
  • a change in bowel habits, such as constipation or diarrhoea
  • feeling bloated
  • blood in the stool from diverticular bleeding
  • mucus in the stool

The symptoms may be mild to severe, depending on the extent of the infection and complications. Other conditions, such as irritable bowel syndrome, have similar symptoms.  See your doctor if you have such symptoms.

See your doctor immediately if you have:

  • very severe abdominal pain
  • a fever
  • start vomiting
  • feel very unwell
  • have blood in your poo

Doctors aren’t really sure what causes diverticulitis but many believe that a low fibre diet may be the main reason.  Without fibre to add bulk to the stool, the colon has to work harder than normal to push the stool forward.  The pressure from this may cause pouches to form in weak spots along the colon.  These pouches become inflamed or infected when bacteria grow’s in them.

The symptoms can last from a few hours to a couple of weeks.  Some of these symptoms are:

  • Cramping pain, usually in the lower left side, that is sometimes worse when you move.
  • Fever and Chills
  • Bloating and gas
  • Diarrhea or constipation
  • Nausea and sometimes vomiting
  • Lack of appetite

In my search for a cure, I discovered that liquid food such as broth was recommended until the cramping pain subsided.  I boiled bones for my broth and found this really helped but I had the dull pain for a number of weeks and I was afraid to eat quite a few things as I didn’t want to risk having another full-blown attack (the pain was just too intense the first time and I didn’t want to experience that again).

I googled like crazy and finally found something that actually worked:

It involved using Apple Cider Vinegar and Cayenne Pepper.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar (with the mother)

1/2 teaspoon of organic cayenne pepper

10 ounces (300ml) of water

Combine the ingredients and drink once a day (minimum) but ideally twice a day.  Once in the morning and an hour before going to bed.

I tried this and in about two hours I was feeling better.

I recommend using this formula for 3 days totally to eliminate this problem.

I’m usually sceptical about remedies that people put on line, because they never show if there have been any medical studies undertaken to prove the veracity of the method. That being said I have for the past 4 months been undergoing severe diverticular pain so bad that at one time I was rushed to the hospital but by the time we arrived the pain had
subsided. Since then I have had 3 more attacks each on starting out very painful and subsequent attacks less so.
My question now is did you ever consult a medical doctor before trying this method. Would appreciate your earliest reply as I”m having a hard time trying to decide whether or not to go to the doctor and possibly looking at an operation which I would like to avoid..

Hi Greg, I’m sorry to hear that you are suffering from this. I had been to the doctor a couple of times in regards to my pain and there wasn’t too much they could do for me, except pain killers and possible surgery. Out of desperation, I found this method and found it helped me a lot. It also helps if you keep your meals VERY simple, whilst your body is healing. When you combine too many ingredients together, it makes it harder for your body to digest it. One or two ingredients in total. As it is your body, please do what you feel is right for you. Wishing you all the best 🙂
